How we prepare our articles

Editorial Team and Standards

The identity, evidence standards and limitations behind the BDS Portal Editorial Desk byline.

Who the byline represents

BDS Portal Editorial Desk is the organizational byline used for the new explanatory article collection. It is not a named individual, a professional qualification or a claim that a separately verified newsroom exists. The collection was prepared with AI-assisted drafting and source checking for the restored website.

Evidence and sourcing

We begin with a defined business question, consult primary publications where available and link to the source near factual claims. Statistical descriptions identify the population or geographic scope. A worldwide or OECD survey is not presented as an estimate of Ethiopian SME adoption. A draft policy is not described as an implemented final rule.

Experience and field context

Worked examples describe plausible operating situations, such as an order handover or training brief. They are explicitly illustrative, not invented client case studies. No interviews, site visits, original business survey or technical audit was performed for this collection. Operational proposals are editorial analysis rather than verified results from a named company.

Dates and editions

Cards use varied editorial edition dates to organize the collection by issue. Those dates are labels for the editions, not claims that the pages were previously online. The articles were first prepared for publication and source-reviewed on 6 November 2026. Publication and review dates are shown separately and metadata does not backdate the pages to the edition label.

Corrections and updates

Send the URL, the disputed statement and a reliable source to [email protected]. A substantive revision should update the review date and identify the changed evidence. A provider listing or a source citation does not establish endorsement, and articles do not promise business, financial or certification outcomes.

Photo use

Each article uses a different illustrative photograph sourced from Unsplash and served from a local asset folder. Captions identify the illustrative nature of the image. The photographs are not claimed to depict Ethiopian clients, field visits or work carried out by the portal. See the Unsplash licence for source terms.
